Gloss or Satin black on top a maroon 04? 2 tone.

I was toying with the idea of painting the top part of my GT black, but I'm trying to figure out to go gloss or satin black.

I would strile the line above the door handles, the mirror housing would be black too.

Any opinions?

i dont like two tone cars, but i fyou want my opinion: dont do satin/matte black. it is excessively hard to keep clean.

matte black is a hundred thousand times worse than gloss black. my bike is matte black, it ALWAYS has fingerprints and water spots on it.

Gloss! Should look uniquely sweet!

Consider silver, gray, or a champagne color over the choice of black with the lighter shade on the lower half of the car. Like mentioned, photoshop this before you even search for a paint shop.

These are different colors, but sweet two tone nonetheless...

That looks great but the idea is I want to keep the factory paint on the bottom half of the car. Reason being, I don't want to paint door jambs and most importantly, I have some hail damage in the couple spots on top that I'm fixing.

Satin black is definitely out at this point. I did consider a dark charcoal grey/silver on top as well instead of black but I think the black would looks better with the maroon.
