• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

gidday to you all

thanks for having me, I hope I can help as much as I can learn. I have been a mechanic for almost 30 years, although not on passenger cars, mainly heavy armoured vehicles, tanks and a raft of everything else (military).

Welcome, could of used you two weeks ago. Was on a two day convoy and the weld on my muffler broke. It dropped, hit the fuel tank and pushed it up, the fuel guage sensor grouned out and went to full all the time , it started leaking diesel and the noise was terrible. Pulled the muffler off the hanger and threw it in the back of the HUMVEE, tried to straighten out the tank so it wouldn't leak much, put in some ear plugs and then drove it for another 7 hours and two fill ups to get it back home.
