Ive been told that you should use a razor blade but when i tried that it ****ing nicked the **** out of it even when i was careful it would always nick. I now picked up some gasket removal foam **** and that didn't work at all, for now i'm just gonna drench the remaining stuck gasket chips with the gasket removal foa m overnight for hope any real suggestions?

There is gasket remover stuff in a can that you get. But you'll still to use a razor blade, just be careful and slow.

I have no idea how you are making marks on it, I've always removed gasket material with a razor. I actually use the Stanley one Iceman pointed out. You're using the flat end... right..?

i dont get it either, this should have been done before cleaning it. and how can it be "that" stuck on there?

rip it off with a belt sander, yeah that will do it.......
