Gen V Swap Questions

If I want to swap to a Gen V, will I need a tune for it? And i am curious what all mods I will need to run a 3.4 on a Gen V. I have 104 plugs, a CAI, Full exhaust minus headers..... Thanks for any and all help
 


yes, youll need a tune for it.

you need more than that...by a lot to run a genV with a 3.4. you have no exhaust work. minus headers means you have no exhaust work dont that is worth a damn. you should have bought headers instead of redoing the catback that is good for at least 300+ whp.

I have a 3''ZZP Catless Downpipe and full 2.5'' exhaust. So that means no exhaust work?
 
okay, so youve got a downpipe. that was the restriction in the system, but now the manifolds are. youre going to have to buy headers and then that downpipe was a waste of money.
