so i am thinking hard about doing this and i was wondering about how much it would cost and what parts i would need. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Prolly around $500-$1,000 for everything...not sure what you will need except a modded LIM, TB Adapter, New S/C Gasket...The Gen V will run the most...somewhere around 400-800 bucks IIRC.

you need the blower and throttle body adapter.

you can get a blower for $350 from an LKQ junk yard and the adapter costs $100 from ZZP.

you have to open up the lower intake a little bit towards the snout, but that can be easily done by tracing a genV gasket onto the LIM and using a sawzall and dremel to cut it open.

that is it. plus the new blower gasket.

your also going to have to make a block-off plate for the evap. Unless your going N* t/b, your also going to have to block of the pcv nipple and run a breather.

dont you need a new intercooler?

For just swapping to a GenV blower...No.

You just have to compensate pulley sizes on the GenV since it is more efficient. EG: You have a 3.4" setup on your GenIII blower. You will probably have a to run a 3.6" or 3.8" pulley on the GenV...less parasitic loss on the motor and makes just as much if not more power.
