Gen 2 SLP Spoiler

Spoiler express must be selling out the last of their stock of this spoiler or something. http://www.spoilerexpress.com/Ponti...om-Style-Spoiler-Small-1997-2003-_p_1204.html
And before anyone comes in here spouting that its a knock off, one company makes these spoilers and it is the same company that originally made them for SLP. The reason its not sold as a GTX spoiler is because of the copy-write SLP has, 3800 Performance pays SLP to use the GTX name, hence they are the only ones who sell GTX stuff. The issue now is the spoilers are not test fit anymore so you can end up with one that is tweaked.

They processed the order right away and the asked for a paint code...gave it to them and they replied it's going paint booth right away...and free shipping!

Does anyone know how install is with this with a lid with a factory spoiler? Like do new holes need to be drilled and or old holes patched?

The holes might line up they might not, They might be like an 1/8th of an inch off from the factory holes. I would just use some silicone to seal em up after you screw it down.
I stole this pic from Cory's thread so you could see what I was talking about.

I think only 2 bolts didnt line up for me, thing is snug as a rug, no water leaks and still beauitful

They have sheetmetal cores so the solution is just take a self tapping screw and screw through the factory trunk hole into the spoiler itself. I did nothing because no worry

I just sent them an email to cancel my order if they were going to send me a stock spoiler. We shall see how they reply to us
