Eventually I'm looking to get a gauge pillar, but heard the 04+ pillars that ZZP offers aren't very durable and melt in the heat. I live in Florida, so intense heat is an issue.

Can anyone confirm that the melting issue is true, and are there any alternate pillars available that are more durable?
