Fun with a Magnum Hemi and 2006 Evo

well took my car to the muffler shop toget some pipes , after i was done i was drivng home and a Guy pull up to me in a Magnum I asked my cousin is it an Srt-8 , or regular hemi , It was a hemi .... He looks a me and we both gum it at the green light i Pulled on him about a car . The second light i got a good start and started to pull away .... At the end he gave me the old Thumbs up.... 2 weeks later Mywife and i were going home , well i see an Evo i pass him up as he looked at me go by he catches up then we both gun it at around 50mph Dam i pulled away good , i let off let catch up to about 65 , i wait for him to go then i gun it and pull away again hear his Blow off valve go off... Sounds good but its not keeping up with me... 3rd time same thing this time at 70 we gun itat the same time and again i pull away from him.... I thought the EVO's where faster than My GTP guess not at least on a rolling start...

all i have are , Wizaird cai , Flowmaster resonator, Flowmaster mufflers....thats it... so i dont know why i beat both as many times as i did....I guess thats all i need..... for now !
 
Evo prolly wasn't on it...granted AWD is only good from digs but those things are quick...the 4G63 ain't no joke and the Evo VIII's & IX's were the fastest.

Vid or it didn't happen. There is no way that evo was on it, a stock one traps around 100-104, there is no way your touching that, sry dude, unless the evo was ****ed up.

I understand that Evo is a beast ... Thats why i dont know why i beat him 3 times....a stock one traps around 100-104 It wasnt at a dead stop we were going 50-70mph each race . But yeah ,Im stumped on that... But i guess he was playing with me 3 times to make me feel good ....:th_scratchhead:

Like you said...all they have to do is "build" boost to make the BOV sound off...they don't have to be raping through the gears...
 
he might needed plugs or sumn, but still could be some truth to his story. i thought 2 dr g35s were fast but wasted a couple of em. good kills
 
Id better start taking a camera everywhere i go or keep me kills to myself , unless they are some pretty easy car to beat Like a sentra

I'm banned from the local Lexus Dealer, cause I left my old Camry at the lot and took a G350 out for a test, and spent my time doing doh-nuts at the local mall. Seems the mall cops called in the dealer plates, and by the time I got back, the Sales Manager asked me if I had had fun. I told him the car seemed to handle poorly and that it felt like the car was going to flip over on high-speed off ramp exits. (Lots of Body roll on those), so I had stopped to warm up the tires. I just headed out the front door of a showroom full of Icy Glares and "Don't come back". :th_tongue2:
 


Anything can happen....I seen a EVO VERY modded get its ass handed to him by a SRT4-Stock. Why?! IT NEEDED DRIVER MOD BADDDDDD and then like 2 weeks later the Evo guys clutch went out! lmao! So good kill!
 
eh you never know if someones gonna suck at drivin or not. ive had that happen to me a couple of times. ive beat up on cars that should have wasted me. at the same time, one time i was drivin my buddy back to work and an acura rsx tried to race me. we punched it on a roll, but my car didnt shift down into first cuz we were goin too fast already, so he ended up keepin up with me. actually yesterday i was drivin on the highway, 1-35 south nick, and there was 2 crappy ricer cars messin with each other tryin to race. i thought id get in on the action. first one was a beat up honda prelude(early year) with fart can and all. he got wasted bad. so im feelin good at this point. i catch up to the other car, an even crappier honda crx, we both look over at each other, i hear him rev so i punch it. i got the leap on em and im about a car ahead of him thinkin its all over for him. next thing i know, this car ROCKETS past me like im standin still! im thinkin holy SH**! next thing i know hes gone. im doin about 120 tryin to keep up and i got nothin. i didnt even care, cuz im a fan of anyone that puts the effort into making their car wicked fast.
 
I have seen lots of evo guys needing driver mods lol. Also consider this. Evo guy turned up his boost and has damaged his motor. No longer as strong as it should be lol.

trap speeds are what counts on a roll race.

Maybe he didn't get a tune with that bov he got, with an evo u need a tune for a bov, or its gonna run like ****. Maybe his turbo is all f-ed up too.

EVO has me by car lengths a grand prix i couldnt even imagine
