Fully gutted cars, how light can we go?

Alright so I've been scavenging information on this for the longest now and I'd love even more input/reinforcement on this. A fully gutted wbody 97-03, how light can we get one excluding driver? I know Shawn's 10 second blower car weighed 2860 w/ driver (clubgp) and the purple turbo GP was also within 2700s (without driver). I also ran across a regal GS thread where the guy cut "750 lbs" off his GS which would put him at about 2800 lbs too. And obviously the race car is under 2900 lbs with driver and caged. But is that range the limit for our cars 100% stripped (with full suspension parts of course)?
 


Look in the Members Ride section. Look for Official Lemons car thread. He has weights throughout that thread. It's stripped and has basically just the gauge cluster a pair of racing seats and the cage. I want to say it's around 2700 or so.
