Fuel Pump o-ring replacement

Could someone tell me how difficult it is to seat the o-ring properly. I am currently getting a code p0440 and i found last night that i am getting air bubbles around the locking ring after lightly spraying water around it, not the best way but all i could think of. Also how do you change the orings at the fuel rail connection, loud hissing noise. I am hoping that this will solve my evap problem. Any suggestions are greately appreciated

Pull the fuel pump, make sure the slot for the oring is clean and put it in. You need a quick connect tool to disconnect the fuel lines.

Do u think that this could be good cause of the code. When i connect the scanner i says the test was aborted due to weak vacuum. I have tried removing the fuel cap while the engine is running watching the fuel pressure sensor for changes but nothing happens weather the cap is on or off. I am also getting a loud hissing noise at the fuel rail connection

Have you tried replacing the fuel cap? THat is a commom problem when this code comes up that the fuel cap wasn't reinstalled properly or is failing.
