The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
So the pump isn't turning on. I can't hear the whine sound from it. I tested one wire and it was at 5 volts or so but the pump wasn't turning on. Is my pump just dead?
will it start and stall? if so that the high speed relay gone bad. if its just dead and you tried swapping th erelays in the fuse box already the pump is dead.
try hitting the bottom of the gas tank with you palm. rather firm, sometimes it will shock the pump back to life. its a temp fix, dont trust it if it fires up after you hit the tank.
Another member posted this same problem and his socket for the relay is worn out. He also had 5V but was actually measuring the sender voltage not the one for the pump.
so my pump still isn't getting power, relay trick doesn't work. Fuse isn't blown. Tested the wires all the way till they went into a bigger loom near the front. No power. Hot wired the pump and it turns on fine. Car still won't turn over though.
Sounds like you need to check into that bigger loom near the front. If you cannot check continuity from the fuel pump wire to the relay then you have a break somewhere.
