fuel problem???

Well my car is a 98 grand prix gtp and my car starts fine it just wont stay on once i press the gas. it wants to die out any suggestions on what it could be

Does it die out automatically or only when you press the throttle?

I would suggest checking the fuel pressure. I'd also think this may be MAF, TPS or a huge vacuum leak.
