Fuel line fix

Truck blew a tire it went under car ripped fuel line out of fuel filter, tried the dorman fuel line repair kit, but og the ones they make one leaks like a sieve no matter how good I clamp it, the other will not even fit no matter how much hot water or heat you put on it. Any fixes besides go to boneyard drop a tank get a line come home drop my tank and swap? I really hate to drop two tanks

If you can get their metal barb on the tank side of the line.. then you could use fuel injection hose from there to the filter. ... Or run injection line from the top of the tank to the filter.

The plastic line needs to be softened up with scalding hot water just stick the end in a bucket of hot water, then shove the doerman barb fitting on the line do the same with the other end. May need to buy 2 kits if you need fittings to put a section of line in to the fuel filter. Ive used them barb fittings before in the engine bay where the line meets up to the fuel rails. Scalding hot water is the key to getting them barbs to fit and not leak later down the road..

I cam't get that stupid barb in and I was thinking of injection line straight from the tank byt that seemed too easy figured I was missing something (also like have quick conntetors rathe than a clamp) but think thats the way I will go
