Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

so i have the car on a life it reads a quarter of a tank which is how much is in there, so i drive it on the lift a bit take it out of the garage and park it then i drive it 4 miles and all of a sudden the needle drops and the low fuel light comes on then 2min later it goes off then i get the "low" warning on the DIC then the low fuel light comes back on i park it in my flat garage turn it off let it sit for a while then drive it again to do things then its fine back to a quarter tank and everthings fine wft is going on the sending unit/fuel pump is 7 months old

Sender... I think GM has some stuff that you put in the tank that is suposed to clean the contacts.... Not sure if it works.

but at 7 months, it should be under warranty.

It's easy to remove the FP from the tank and check the sender. Resistance should increase as the slider moves upward on the variable resistor. Hook up a DVM to the leads and move the float up and down. The change in resistance should be very linear without any dead spots (open).

If there are dead spots try and bend the slider so it makes better contact with the variable resistor.

When I installed my pump the sender was very erratic at first. A month later it was working fine...guess the slider had to wear in.
