Front Sway Bar Install Issue

I am replacing my front sway bar, i have gotten all of the bolts out to get the sway bar out but i came to a problem when trying to remove the tie rod end. In the install process that i read, it told me to remove the tie rod end on one side of the car, so that you could pull the sway bar out of one side. When removing the nut, it started to come off, then it just started spinning on the bolt.. No matter if trying to tighten, or loosen now all it does is just spin the whole thing. We have already tried using an impact wrench, yet that does nothing as well...

What should i do?

You can actually get it out without taking the tie rod end off. It's just a pain in the but.

You need to go rent or buy a ball joint seperator tool. It looks like a fork. Beat it in there with a hammer and continue to take the nut off. Just keeping hitting the seperator tool to keep pressure on it all the time that way it wont start to slip on you again.

x2 you can rent it from advance auto its called a pickle fork....make sure you dont use to big of one tho or you will rip a bushing it has to be the same with as the bolt.
 
Thanks for the ideas. Well after a lot of extra work the front sway bar was installed. It was amazing how much rust was in the area... Made things very very difficult to remove. I ended up having to replace the tie rod since it had to be destoyed just to remove it lol.

With that said body roll is pretty much non existent, but the steering feel seems a little strange. A bit more torque steer than usual and sloppier steering, but I am assuming this might be from the fact I changed out a critical steering part. Would an alignment fix this, or is there something else I should be thinking about?
