Just today I was driving to the in-laws for Christmas and I noticed that I was getting a strange clunk noise when I was driving. Here is what happens.....
It only happens on a moderate to severe bump and only on the driver side. I can feel it in the floor board but my wife cant on her side. You can defiantly hear it. I did a pot hole test and can confirm it is only happening on the driver side. It only happens with a bump and I dont hear any grinding or humming otherwise.
I did a visual inspection and didnt notice anything but I wasnt able to jack the car up. Suspension isnt my forte when it comes to specifics but ive changed my share of shocks and struts on various cars. I went searching through threads and the others talked about things from the strut mounts to CVs. What is the most likely culperate and is there a way I can check myself to confirm?
