Hey not sure of the actual name for this piece but is is the piece that is plastic and goes around the hood latch and has a couple pegs that hold onto the front bumper. I bought my car with that piece broken. And im wondering if anyone knows the name so i can by a replacement because it seems to be necessary for the safety of my bumper Its made out of plastic.
 


gmpartsdirect lists it as a support. I'm sure it's a dealer or junkyard only item. They have it listed for $29.11 and they give a picture breakdown of the front bumper parts so you can verify that it is the right part.
