ok just wonderin if anybody has had this problem and what it was and how to fix it....my reverse only works when my engine is freezing cold like over night winter...as soon as my trans gets a lil warm i have no reverse just rpms....wtf anybody got suggestions?

I am having the same problem, have you figured it out yet? if so let me know what i need to do

Leaky seal or valve? The fluid would be thicker when it's really cold so it wouldn't leak down as easily.

How much do you think that will cost to fix? and how does it only do it in reverse and not any other gear?

Realize that this is just a guess, I'm no tech, just a regular guy trying to think of something that would fit the symptoms.

If it's just a seal on the reverse servo, it might not be too bad, but I'm not sure if you can get to it with the trans in the car. If it's something like the reverse servo boost valve, it's gonna take removing and rebuilding the valve body.

I think he already replaced the servo seal for the reverse apply servo and it didnt make any difference in his case. It also means removing the crossover pipe and rear exhaust manifold to find out. A worn boost valve can be another cause as well as a partially blown out channel plate gasket and either of those means internal repair

where is the boost valve at? i was told its the reverse sprag gear that its blown and leaking pressure i was quoted at 3 diff shops all in the prices of 1500-1700!!! screw that Triple edge here i come if thats the case....
