Hello forum,
So it seems my Forward Apply Band is fractured, I.E. Stuttering going into gear in Drive and 3rd, first-second are fine. Spoke to TEP about it at it seems this is a pretty common issue. My biggest concern is the cost. If I can do it myself, I will. Even though Im currently in college(Auto Tech Major) in a transmission class, do you think I can tackle this myself? If so, what are your thoughts?
I spoke to a transmission shop and checked online and it seems im looking at atleast $500 for the labor. One internet goblin stated he paid $1200 for the replacement... Ugh...
