For those who swapped window motors what the hell

Ok so the motor on the left(gold) is the new one from Rock. All the other crap brackets and the motor on the right is what I took off. Not even close to the same. Explains why the window went up funny... The gear that messes up to the regulator isnt even remotly the same and the mounting holes dont match up.
ALL IN ALL NOT THE SAME ****.

Anyway to me it looks like my brackets are just wrong.

Anyone want to tell me whats wrong in this picture, "the square peg aint fittin in the circle hole"

What am I missing I don't feel like poppin off the passanger side numb fingers

So after looking around. This bracket on this motor is what Im missing... Why is it not there NO CLUE. Its not tho. Now to junkyard it up in winter fun.

When I had to replace mine I bought the motor and regulator together for 40 dollars and it was direct replacement... that's just plain retarded that they didn't send u what you needed...

Yup that's what I wish I did now. I'll be out 30 on shipping alone if I return what I got for a braciket. I had to do shipping twice then a return.

Damn that sucks man... I checked a few places and the prices were ridiculous so i went with ebay since it was a decent price.. now that i think about it, i should have went to the u pull it junkyard in my area and i could have even gotten it for cheaper.. probably 10 - 20 for the whole assembly, but i cant ***** to much paying 40 for new parts..

I got it figured out. I raped a Buick Centery at the U Pull It and $2.45 later got the right bracket. My GS is a different setup than the Grand Prixs. This explains why my window went up just a little off
