• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

For all you southern people.

And believe it or not but on Thursday, North Dakota was colder than Siberia, according to the news.

How cold did it get down to?

It was -20°F here this morning. My car started HARD and then it took 5 mins for me to un-stick the e-brake.

I took this the other day. Rammed through a 2 foot snow bank to get into the driveway.

-27 is the lowest I saw, but there was a slight wind so the wind chill factor was like -50. I never tried to start mine when it was that cold. Id just as well take the truck at those temps.

At these temps, I wouldn't be using an ebrake in an automatic. Too easy for slush etc to get on it and freeze it up once you let it sit overnight.

As I pulled out of the garage my ECC said 40F :D It dropped to -6F within about a mile.

why do you use your ebrake? your car has PARK. i only use my ebrake on my manual car when PARKED because i dont leave it in gear unless im on a hill...

My driveway has a fairly steep incline and I don't want to rely only on the parking pawl to keep it in position. Plus when the driveway is icy, it's less likely to slide if all 4 wheels are locked.

I miss the snow, I can't wait to move back up north, sick of living near all these fat-biscuit pounding-bible loving-inbred morons here in Salter Path NC.

We had like 3 inches last week, but its back to normal weather, Im doing an oil change on Mom's car and mine today after work, will prolly wash both while Im at it.... No garage, outside on paved drive... its like mid 60*s

Love the cool weather, Love the snow more, but DAM that's too much

Man I'm in Florida now, first time in more than ten years I haven't had to deal with a winter.
70* and sunny today, gave my car a bath.

Meh...that is a good bit of snow. I live down in FL, and I had no problem driving around in 2ft of snow, which the bottom 3-4in was solid ice, in upper NC.

What I do have a problem with is, when its 102 degrees outside, and 85% or higher humidity....****ing miserable...

-27????? Epic Fail!!!! With temps at a -27 YOU WIN!!!! Screw that. And I thought -10 with wind chill was bad enough. I won't ***** about the cold here anymore. Well we know that's not really true. But will try to appreciate what we do have here.

Am I the only Floridian who doesn't mind the heat. I don't even have AC lol.

I did the drive from the FL wide meet in Orlando with the windows down going back up and was perfectly happy.

Nah, I dont mind the heat either...and I also dont have AC...compressor is shot..

Windows down and moving is fine with me...its the working outside in that heat, or sitting at a stop light for ages..

at least when youre sweating at a light youre not sitting there knowing that salt is slowly chewing away at your car.
this winter has been the worst, eveytime i go to get a car wash i check the forecast.... yupp well be getting another two feet tomorrow...WTF

-32 degrees here yesterday morning...about 30 hours later (today noonish) it was 36 degrees. Thats a 64 degree temp change. Damn 4 degrees above freezing never felt soooo good.

Ohhjaa schnow
