Foglights

I picked up the Hella angel eyes and agree with everyone that these connectors suck and they are a pain in the arse to install. Is there another foglight out there that is not nearly as difficult and do I need to run a thicker gauge wiring since these use a higher wattage? thanks.

well, what..those are 55W bulbs? so 55W on a 12V system produces roughly 4.6A. You can technically run 23 gauge, but id just run the 16. its good to 22A. 12 gauge is HUGE and is going to be more of a pain than anything.

I know this is probably an obvious answer to this question but do you need to run the wire for these from the fuse box or where else would I run it from? If I run it from the fuse box, where would I get the connectors for the wires in the fuse box? Thanks.

i spliced into my stock wiring and put a relay there. then ran the new power wires from the relay.

this will allow you to keep the stock wiring up until you wire the foglights to it and you can then use the same switch and everything.
