Foglight bulb suggestions

well i now have tinted headlights for the time being, kind of a in betweener thing till i get my projectors in the spring and HID's. I have to replace a fog lamp bulb anyway, so my question is should i spend the 45 to get silverstars for the fogs? cause i've seen on here guys saying they had them burn out within a few months...and i know there warranted but still kind of a pain. I also see the ZZP has street glow's xenon white for 20 for the pair. Has anyone used these yet and what do ya think. I've used streetglow xenon headlight bulbs in a stang with diamond cut housings and LOVED em! Just looking for some input since moneys tight and i'm gonna be replacing the fog lamp housings and installing HID's later there anyway

well nevermind, i guess i'll give the Streetglows a shot since no one said otherwise and i got a pair shipped off ebay for $13

I would have done led fogs. You can make some cool designs that way.

right now i just want cheap and bright, like i said in the spring i'm changing all housings and going hid so this is just temp

the "high output" halogen bulbs are rated for 12 V and not 12.8V like the normal bulbs so when they get normal voltage, they go outside the 10% variance range that the bulbs are spec'd for.

In english, lower bulb life for marginally increased output. Stop messing around with an already maximized technology and upgrade to a new one.
