fog lights not coming on

I got out of my car today went in the house and came back out started my car my head fog lights wouldn't come on. 03 gp

start with the simplest thing first, pull the bulbs to make sure they didnt burn out by chance.

I know they didnt i just bought them like two weeks ago

check fuses, grab a multimeter and flip the power on to them. see if youve got power going to them, if the bulbs are good you looking at apower or ground issue somehwere. if you do end up having power in but no light, start tracing ground side

Check the bulbs anyway. You touch the bulb, they die fast.

Also, depending on conditions, check and make sure your high-beams aren't on. >_>

mine each had a wire that had broken off I actually cut new sockets off in a junkyard with a lot more wire so now I can put the bulbs in while the lens is out of the car and then just fit it back in much easier that way
