Fog Light relay

2005 GTP. I've been having issues with the fog lights staying on after you use the FOB to lock the doors. Then when I come out of work, the battery is dead. I was going to change the fog light relay, but I'm not sure where that one is. I had to change the HDM relay on my 2007 GP. Does anyone know which one is the fog light relay?

So the fog light relay wasn't the issue. When we shut the car off at night, and lock the car with the keyfob, the "security" fog lights stay on and don't go out. But if we lock the car manually, the "security" fog lights will go out after 15-20 seconds.

Any ideas where to start with this one, other than the relay?

Strange. Give me a chance to look at the schematics and I'll see what I can come up with. :/

Does the car actually lock though?

So the lock signal and security signal both go to the bcm and are separate, so I doubt both are malfunctioning.

I would first go into the personal programming mode on your dic and turn off the delay lights feature when car is locked, to start with.

Unfortunately there's no easy way to reprogram the remote without a tech2 scan tool with gm subscription. Also, there wouldn't be a visible code to a regular scantool. Mine can read security codes but autozone/regular cheap scanner won't see them. Unless you buy one of the scanners you'll have to take it to a shop to have them read the codes and they usually charge a bunch.

Unfortunately security issues with newer gm cars can't really be fixed often without special equipment. Yay technology...
