Flickering DIC

Hey guys,

Not only do i have a flickering HUD (which i've found the repair instructions for - thanks) but the DIC is also flickering. They don't flicker at the same time so i'm sure that the problems are not related.

I figure that i must have another loose connection on the DIC but the display flickers brighter rather than going out. Could this be a problem with a light sensor somewhere? What light sensor controls the brightness of the DIC?
