Noticed these "holes" in my flexplate...I'm guessing it isn't normal, anyone know for sure or have any ideas? tia

The stock flexplates do have large holes in them...... I cant really see anything from the pics.

In more cases than one, when your making high power.... the stock flexplate will crack.

yeah all i have for pics is my cell phone. It looks like it was partially punctured through, right above the bolt head almost like a star pattern, not a clean cut hole... kinda hard to explain..I'm not running any major mods just 3.4 pulley and supporting mods

I see what you are reffering to and it is likely just a hole that was drilled for balancing. You will see this on the other side of the plate and will be near where the large weight is tacked on. I see a lot of stock flexplates like this and wouldnt worry about it as that is how they come new. When I see cracks in them it has always been in the area where there are large windows in the plate the in the center section of it. You may be able to see this by removing the inspection cover but you really cant see the cracks too well without pulling the trans.

Thanks, I wasn't getting any wierd vibrations or noises like a cracked flexplate so didn't think it was too bad, but I wasn't sure what it was and just assumed that it wasn't good ... I feel better now lol
