Flex plate holes don't lineup

So I got this car with all the mods done...including a hole in #5 piston. I swapped out the motor and the torque converter bolt holes done lineup with the converter. I have looked and can't find any info here. The original flex plate had hogged out holes to remedy this so thats what I did. Any insight would be helpful

What motor?: L67, L32, L36, L26
What transmission? 4T65E, 4T65E-HD

For some years I think the L67 had a slightly different torque convertor compared to the L36.
Yes, some people just increase the hole diameter.

L67/32 = 258mm converter bolt circle
L36/26 = 245mm torque converter bolt circle

4T65E-HD = 258mm converter
4T65E = 245mm converter

Here's what you had

Reason behind this is that the previous owner put a smaller torque coverter into the transmission. This is done because it's less rotating mass and the engine can rev faster. I've hogged/egged a couple when it was necessary. Rather put the correct flex plate on though.
