flashing in another year bin into 04 monte

I noticed there is no way to disable cat diagnostics on the 04 monte carlo. I found the 03 doesn't have it either, is it possible to flash an 02 monte bin into an 04 monte? My only other option for this car is to run it in open loop but the 04's give goofy command a/f numbers
 




Not really anyway to turn it off. Not sure I'd put a 02 file in a 04 car, sounds like a waste of money with HPT.

Otherwise why not just plug the rear o2 in and make it further away from the exhaust gases.
 


04 Monte...thats still a series 2 l67 return style fuel system is it not, only thing differnt should be the trans settings for 03+ trans?
Tiny Tuner is the only way to turn off cat diagnostics in any 01+ car.
 
I don't believe you can flash an older file on the MC's because some of the gauges and interior lights may not work. From what I've read.

A buddy had a 2000 monte that he top swapped, and I don't think he could run an 04 file, for that reason.

Your best bet is to probably send the bin to the guys at TT, and see if you can get one of them to modify it.
