So last night I was on a 3 lane hwy. There was this TBSS just runnin hard every light tring to get even a turbo PT to race so I figured Id give it a shot. Sounded stock Im 100% stock. It was raining so I rolled into the gas easy so I wouldnt just straight spin we were still both goin for it. Long story short I took him by about 3/4 of a car and we layed out at 70-80. Well I cut back at 80 when I saw him hittin his brakes. I checked there 1/4 times stock and there nothin special average around 14.7-14.8 on there forums for all tht power but a ton of weight. So does he just suck at driving or is this a realistic kill? It happend dude even asked me what I had done to my car and wasnt to happy when I said stock(for now).

Believable. I ran a TBSS in my gtp(stock)about a year ago from a light.. Stayed almost dead even, had him by maybe a half car by 70.

My wife looked at me and was like "You wanted to spend 20 grand on that" They look sick but I woulda expected more. Either way I was pleased... He really really really wasnt

nice, if you took him in that then i shouldnt have any problems in my gxp

Yea a GXP would lay one out hard you got like 60 sumthin more hp than me and Im not to sure about the torque. We both didnt really hit it hard till like 15mph and i walked him. It was a slow walk but still a walk.

ya but if it was dry and it was the AWD TBSS he would jump you so hard off the line and then end of story

it means your dumb for racing in the rain.

100% agreed on that one. Cant argue that at all. It was only till about 70 but it happens. Since we got the me being dumb for "racing" in the rain outta the way Im still pleased with my results. Ill probably remember this thread tho next time I have a chance to run in the rain and WONT. Always suxux getting crap on the forum for sum reason lol.

Im pretty sure tho everyone has done a BS run on wet roads atleast once I should have said that "it was wet NOT raining". I dont drive or do anything dumb dumb pretty much ever well for the past few years atleast. Anyway Im done with the rain subject. Now I just want to run one when its dry to see where it pans out.

IMO, TBSS is a better race for a 3.4" setup car and a little more.

He probably wasn't trying...lulz.

Even on the HWY it shoulda pulled you good...LS2 is no b1tch once it gets going.

Yea thats why I had the ? in my title. It just didnt seem right but you could here the SS going at it. I read alot of 14.4 times on there forum. I mean even with the weight difference the thing has what 395 hp. I wasnt sure if it was a kill or more a bad TBSS driver cuz he was tryin.

Maybe he was trying to manually shift his SUV? I don't know...I just know local ones with few bolt ons are dipping well into the 12's.

Yea then me scratching my head on the way home thinkin "really" was right. Its ok tho I know he had an exhaust and I LOVE hearing a TBSS with a exhaust scream soooo sexy. Maybe cuz its an SUV or who knows anyway so it wasnt a kill it was a fluke.
