13.33 @ 104, 1.96 - 60ft on the M/T ET Streets. 13.45 @ 104, 2.10 - 60 ft on regular street tires. Tons of potential left in it, first time ever on the track in the car and I only got to make 7 passes with 2 out of the 7 on the slicks. I was launching from a high idle on the street tires and about 2300 rpm on the slicks. I tried launching it at 3k on my first try and it sat on the rev limiter spinning them for the first 120 feet. Needed to find a more "fwd friendly" track to use the slicks at as the track official wouldnt let me come through the water and it is kind of hard to warm them up dry (it kept dragging the ass out). This was all with 17* of timing at 10.8-11.2 AFR. I leaned it out to 11.6-11.8 on the WB and it had 4* of KR. I borrowed the slicks so I probably wont get to use them again but im shooting for 12.99 or better on street tires and 110 oct. mix next time.

Needs 3.2" when you run the race gas...with the slicks.

Think, 12.75~ if you can drop the 60 foot down to a 1.8ish

Those were about the times I ran on street tires with an XP/Headers/3.4"...so good runs brutha

next time i get a chance to use some slicks im trailering it and running straight 110, catback totally off the car, as much boost and timing as possible, plus cabling the rear. I tore up some dude in a Scion TC with a huge turbo though, that was cool. None of the SRT-4 kids would race me and I burned a Cobalt SS/TC with a bunch of ZZP parts on it off the line then he went zinging past me at about half track

Nice times, also if you blow that trans it will be no problem cause you are a trans guy LOL.

yea, but if I drive it there and it breaks i still have to get back to the shop to get the truck and trailer! The first thing I will break in this trans will be the input shaft so basically....no slicks at Norwalk. I didnt get any video of the passes last weekend either, I need to find a way to mount my camera inside the car. Videos from outside of a car running 13's are always really slow looking and boring.

Ran at Norwalk for the Sport Compact races on June 3rd. I was the ONLY gtp there. I was too hungover and lazy to do the cables and everything, plus I was running bracket so I didnt care if I ran any new PB's. Only time really worth mentioning was my 2.0 60 ft. on bald street tires. Ran a best of 13.52, problem was that was in the first round of bracket competition and I was dialed in at 13.65. So I lost first round to a stick shift. Car was running 13.7s all morning in TT and first round of elim. it picks up 2 tenths on the big end :th_scratchhead: Something going on with LTFT's and KR im sure but I wasnt scanning so..IDK. Track was almost like glue though. Announcer kept going on about how sticky it was and how anything you could put down it would take, so I went out for a TT pass and made a smoke cloud on the revlimiter through first trying to test his theory. I always feel like im launching too soft and that theres more in it but I guess not. Going to re-gear to 3.29's and head out again...soon.

Had the car out to mid michigan motorplex a few weeks ago. Trying out my new to me bias ET Street 26x10.5 / 16's and my 2.50" pulley. Ran 12.60 @107, new best 60ft of 1.80. 2.50" pulley gave me KR 1* building to 4* from the 2-3 shift until I let off and ran a 12.61. Bolted the 2.7" on and ran 12.60 so I just left it, less stress on the engine and just as fast. I should have went with a bias ply slick right from the beginning 2 years ago. ET street radials are worthless in comparison. At one point I literally launched the car at 90% throttle off the brake just to see what it would do and it still bit in. Still cannot seem to get my 12.40s back though. 3rd time to the track since that day and 12.60 is my best time since then. First time out with the whole setup and it runs the fastest it ever has, consistently, all day, now it won't do it again.

HA I was just about to ask about the gear ratio and then scrolled up..........

3.29s should make a nice difference at the track I bet and as long as them tires are sticking and not ending up in a cloud of smoke I wish more people would run 3.69s for a 1/4 mile Supercharged car. I realize MPH may suffer but I think it could knock down the ET some!

Also do you take anything out when you run ex. seats gutted trunk anything?

When I ran the 12.41 at Norwalk it was on E85/2.7" pulley/22* timing. I've run the same setup ever since. The only thing I have changed was the fuel pump. That first time out I was still on the stock pump and it was leaning out after 5k. As far as weight I ran then with the trunk gutted and the pass. seat out. Now I have a more permenant trunk setup so I left it in. I ran it on the radials at the end of last year though with the trunk gutted and the seat out and it ran 12.60s all day thentoo. The thing that concerns me more than anything is the MPH. My best mph anywhere since Norwalk has been 108. It did 111 there.

When it ran 12.41 I really thought it had a lot more in it, my 60fts on the radials were rarely into the 1.8s and it was totally out of fuel. Now I can't seem to even get back to there let alone go any faster.

Just for the hell of it id check the plugs and check compression something does seem weird, you recently did a trans refresh too right? Got me thinking where the MPH went too? SMH

its been known that with a dead hook (better traction off the line) your MPH will be lower but your ET will be better. when your spinning your MPH will increase bc your spinning he engine in higher rpm allowing the engine to build speed faster, but the lack of traction hurts your ET

its the same way a car can run a 11.5 @ 105mph and someone with the same setup with ****ty traction can run a 13.5 @ 115mph

your MPH went down bc your getting better traction

I would buy that if the car actually did go faster but the ET and mph both got worse
