Finally got started

Well I finally decided to clean out the garage and start installing a system in the Grand Prix.

Some of the equipment I had stored away.

I installed the head unit with a kit but didn't like the way it looked, it stuck out too far for me.

So I made my own out of Aluminum

Now I have to paint it and install. It will be flush mounted with no gaps around the trim ring.:th_biggrin2:

Looks good. Can't wait to see it installed. Could be a money maker there. I don't like the way the install kits stick out either and I'm sure alot of others don't too.

I got the idea from awebsite that I found. HUmount.com
Their kits are really nice but I just can't make myself pay that much.
