• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Finally getting some maintenance done. Help on list.

Ok so I have a few weeks off from school and I want to get some work done on my car. Here is a list of things I want to do and what I am buying. Let me know what else I may need or should do.

-Need to see where coolant is leaking. Make sure it is just the lim or uim
-Coolant flush (going green)
..........-180 not drilled thermostat and gasket
..........-flush kit and coolant
-Replace LIM
...........-Aluminum lim gasket and black rtv
...........-Supercharger gasket (unless I can remove it all together)
...........-2 o-rings (should I have them filled and adjust for the rear head coolant flow?)
...........-6 injector o-rings
...........-2 coolant elbows
-Flip dog bones while I'm in there.
-Replace coupler maybe (going to have it ported later so might wait)
-2 oil changes
-Maybe plugs and wires later
-Smooth out valve covers
............-Paint, but idk what color. Probably black with red or silver lettering
............-Replace gaskets

I think that is about it for now. Hopefully I can find enough money to do it all lol. I also hope it isn't my head gasket leaking. So many more things on my list too.

maybe new belts while ur at it, also since alt. will be off, throw a voltage booster on there.....

O2 sensor, metal idler pulleys, water pump, heater hoses, lower rad hose, upper rad hose, PCV valve, air filter, fuel filter, both fuel injector o-rings, valve cover gaskets, SC fluid,

I have some exhaust work to do, so I will do the sensor then. The pulleys are already replaced and no money for some of those things but I'm trying to get all I can.

my opinion is to get a denso brand o2 sensor for the top o2 sensor(most accurate, better than bosch) otherwise zef covered it very well

^^And use Dexron VI...not that Dexron IV crap. Might as well make a shift kit too while your in there...someone has a write-up on CGP about it...but since that site is full of flaming...I stay far away...no need for that crap.

Jiffy Lube is like 50 bucks around here...but like recommending them is like wanting to have a guy with tourettes do open heart surgery on you.

i stick a water hose in the radiotor and turn it on full blast. does a pretty good job. and then pull the thermistat out and do the same to the block.
