Failed Emissions Test

Ok as the title says I failed my annual Pennsylvania Emmissions test on the Grand Prix due to no monitors reporting except for the Air Injection. the Mechanic was baffled as was I... and said i may have a bad PCM... gonna run it up there before I get to work on it and they are gonna re-run the test and see if another sensor may of readied .... now has anyone else experienced this? or does anyone have any idea what to do to get it through.
The car has a stock PCM so obviously nothing to do with a tune or something like that, any other mods that may (i highly doubt) that maybe causing any issue is a SLP CAI, ZZP 2 1/2" Cat back and a ZZP 2 1/2" DP.... any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know if I have ever heard of this and a gp
egr is the only type of airinjection i can think of and the exhaust I dont thnk would do it thats bizzare

well I have air injection AND an EGR ... somehow even though I'm in PA and from what I can tell the car has been in PA since new but somehow got out of the factory with Blasted California Emissions. checked the RPO for it and I got it ....

yeah when I showed up to a JSCGP meet and was showing it off thats the first thing that was pointed out lol

Funny I ran across this thread. Im from Philly but live in Cali with a 00' Regal GS which is air injected. But yeah they just failed my emissions test partially bc my CAT is not legal all of the sudden but for the last 7yrs i've been passing the smog test with this very same CAT (Yeah this time around my Nitrogen Oxide was a lil on the high side, but my CAT shouldve been still legal). New emission revision laws my A**

But we gotta understand, these emission test are one of many ways the states make money off of us. Yeah it sucks......badly

Thanks for bringing up the old thread.

States don't make money off the emission testing. The EPA based on air quality requires the states to have these programs in place.

Im not sure why some members dont like old threads being re-opened but a thread is a thread and they're here for a reason for members to use them. Yal moderators should erase the old threads if yal think they're too old to reopen and at the end of the day yal long time members always tell noobs to search for an existing thread before they go asking questions or remaking new threads. I think it's a good thing bc it may help someone and it will reduce multiple threads on the same subject from being created.

And I know what the EPA is and im sure the state makes money from theses state law mandatory emissions test and if not directly they definitely get a piece of this pie some way. And its clear that some states have different emission laws based on that state specific requirements which is clear that some way some how these states are making money from it, particularly California. But really, erase the old threads if yal don't want them to resurface. 9 times out of 10 if somebody relates to the thread they're going to respond to it.
