Factory Amp In A 00 GP with Bose System

im putting a new head unit in my GP. i have the full bose system with the factory amp. am i able to still run the bose system thru a new head unit? i will be getting the pioneer DEH-P6000UB thru Crutchfield.

anyone have ideas? im going to be putting 2 12's in it soon as well but would still love to keep the bose system in working order with new head unit thanks!
 


Yes you are, but you have to "jump" the remote wire to the pinkish lookin wire to leads to the Bose amp. If you look at your factory wiring leading to the HU, you will see it off to the right, you need to splice into that to run the amp, or buy the correct coupler that will retain features. I opted for the cheaper connector, it was like $50 bucks less and I only lost the chimes that were of no importance and spliced the remote into that wire to activate the bose amp.
