I know I live in Southern California so I have very little right to complain, but ******* I hate the rain! I've lived in sunny Dubai for over 20 years and gray skies just make me gloomy. To top it off I couldn't fly today since visibility and wind conditions were so poor.

Well I live in AR and we are like 30in ABOVE what rain we need! The whole state in a flood watch/warning! It sucks! It stopped today..for now! lol This Friday is out homecoming I hope it holds off atleast on Friday!
 
Wow that's pretty bad. I didn't know it rained this far into fall for you guys too. Hopefully Friday is rain free for you, though!
 
Dubai is in a flat desert. And SoCal isn’t, mainly because of the mountains. On top of that you have to expect rain this time of the year.

I just have to ask this, did your contact run out? I just ask because I have been to Dubai many times and am kind of familiar with the things they don’t advertise.
 


It was a balmy 40 degrees all day. Cali sounds real tough. i might be movin out there in the start of next summer though soo fingers crossed
 


also tired of the rain.. not only is the gray sky a downer, but i have only got to work about 15 hours this week... gotta love the landscaping biz
 
You'd hate it here over the summer. Rains just about everyday about the same time of the day to. It's frustrating when you can't have a clean car for more than a day or two.

Yeah you're right dude. To be honest, the third day of rain wasn't so bad, but the first two made me gloomy.

About Dubai, my family moved there from India when I was a child, and yeah Dubai has a very dirty side to it that not everyone knows about. Do you still go there?

Haha true dude. The rain shouldn't really bother me because in India the monsoons pretty much start floods every summer, but too many years of desert living conditioned me to be whiny when it rains :D.

Nope, I have'nt been there in years. And I don't plan on ever going back.
