f-body upgrade bolt

I have a 1997 grand prix and I am doing the F-body brake upgrade the bolts on my car are shoulder bolts, so when I tap the brackets do I use that shoulder bolt? Because I notice the 98's and up in the junkyard do not use a shoulder bold so I am unsure which one to use. Shoulder or regular I know this sounds confusiing but I could not figure out how else to word it. Thanks
