As promised I went on a internet hunch/peer pressure and ordered the 3rd gen rear 23mm sway bar. To my door it was 70 and change. Came in black powder coat. Very nice piece.later this week I'll throw the car on the stands and make this my *****..

That'd be very cool if you can make work. Are the ends correct for a GXP. I know for the 97-03s they're vertical and not horizontal.

Kinda wish I had a stock bar laying around, got an SS rear bar from a 96 I parted out.

Depending on width and all the dimensional stuff the only thing to figure out is how you plan to mount the sway links with the mounting holes 90deg off of where the GP

This should be very interesting, the GMPP bar isn't enough to keep my rear end in check with how much weight the subwoofers add, so this could definitely help. Good luck with the install!

Welp in short for most of you looking for this mod to work in a bolt on solution it ain't happening.

If you are willing to take time to chop in the rear subframe 1.5 inches and Fab up a bracket mounting solution then you can totally get away with using this bar. All you'd need is a stud with a tie rod end on it to complete some baller ass sway bar endlinks.. If I have time next weekend I'll get it done the DIY way. Here's the pics

I have some brackets I need to mail u. Some coil over sway bar end link brackets. So u cam make rear coil overs.
