F-Body front brake upgrade

Soooooo...I'm loving these. Definitely a noticeable difference in stopping power but I just can't get rid of this slightly spongy pedal. Stops fine. Just don't like the spongy pedal.

I thought about SS braided lines to start. Can our master cylinders keep up with the demands of these larger calipers?

No need to upgrade the master cylinder...hell guys are running the ctsv (brembo) brakes on our cars with the stock master cylinder if that tells you everything.

I would of done SS lines while you were at it and did you make sure to bleed the brakes good.

Yup. Bled and bled and bled. I work in a shop so I used all the equipment at my disposal. Nothing beats the good old fashioned buddy system though. DOT 4 fluid and all. It's not a huge problem, just wondering what other guys are doing.

I couldn't imagine those giant ctsv brakes on our cars holy crap lol!

I would try some SS lines then. I noticed a pretty big difference when my buddy upgrading to Fbody w/ SS lines wasn't a spongy feeling.

And stainless lines wont matter unless your stock lines are junk and ballooning. Anyone that says otherwise is wrong.
