Extreme 911! (snapped fitting off the tranny)

I leave for FL in 2 weeks and I had a leak so I was going to take off the tranny cooler line and see why the line was leaking. As soon as I started unscrewing it the fitting that goes into the transmision's casing SNAPPED right off. I have this stupid hurricane coming in a few hours and it's supposedly gonna snow right after it and I dont even know where to begin on how to get this damn thing out.

The tranny is a 1998 verison with the screw in fittings. Taking the trans out is also not an option since I already put in my two weeks in at work and I can't be spending loads of money.

you were trying to take the line off and it snapped?? either you turned the wrong way and it snapped (ive done it :/) oooor it was stripped in there. I would try what the others said with the easy out
