exhaust opinions

ok so Id like to do some kind of exhaust to my gtp and im not sure what i shuld do...shuld i straight pipe it from the cat back (muffler delete) or shuld i put a different exhaust system..Id like everyones opinions
 


i took out just one muffler. the left one and it drones like a mofo. if youre going to do anything i hear good things about magnaflows. but if money isnt the worry, borla or slp.
 
keep it stock

or buy borla.

Everything else sucks pretty much.

Flowmasters and magnaflows drone bad. And if you have kids, its not going to too friendly for them.
 


stock or Borla like others said, ZZP and SLP arn't bad but mostly all aftermarket systems get raspy around 4000 RPM

i changed out the resonator and have no cat this is my set up

ok? you know im aware you said borla or stock would sound good on these cars, all im asking is that if you know how it would sound theres more answers then good and bad maybe someone who has tried that exhaust can give me a good review of it not just bad
 
I just put on magnaflows. It has a great deep tone to it and it doesnt drone at all. It's not loud either, very slightly louder than stock. I wish it was louder at idle. If it was te exhaust would be perfect. Maybe a smidge louder when acceleration. Not raspy at all either. I plan on putting up a video of stock vs magnaflow mufflers. Got to take a video of the magnaflows.
 
I did ported exhaust manifolds a ported crossover pipe a 2.5" catless downpipe and a 2.5" catback exhaust with magnaflow mufflers and magnaflow resonators. its a bit louder then I expected. my wife dosent like driving it because she cant talk on the phone in it. it sounds more like a muscle car then a daily driver.

I think you should go borla mufflers. Though they are more expensive, they arent nearly as loud as flowmasters. I dont know about all this drone talk...I took my muffler of my 3800 and it doesnt even drone bad. Just depends on what you like - Loud flowmaster, Best sound for GP's - Borla.
 
if money isnt a worry the corsa sport catback is 1200. if it is a worry see if u can find a used one. here it is on my car
