Exhaust module?

My buddy told me about an electirc module that you can weld into your exhaust system so you can flip a switch and have it just running on an open down pipe, and then you just flip the switch and return it back to stock sound. Anyone heard of this?, and where can i get one?
 


they will always fail after some time. they have a 100% failure rate.

also, these cars sound like junk with an open downpipe.
