exhaust loud as hell!!

so my car went from sounding like a stock gt exhaust to a sounding like i put flowmasters on!!!! i found out my exhaust pipe was broken clean in half before the catalytic converter! my car sound beast!!! maybe a little to loud but it sounds mean!. now i heard this improves performance but is bad due to the emissions being leaked from the exhaust and is also illegal! :(...so any feedback?
 


yep, with no mufflers you may get pulled over for a "sound violation" and with no catalytic converter, well thats a federal law your (and i'm) breaking there, lol
 
A stock GT and it sounds like a beast, maybe to you, but to most people that have heard it, I'm sure they are thinking otherwise...
 


Might sound decent to you at idle, but when you build up RPM's you'll want to die. And, as others said, get it fixed. Your not going to see any performance increases unless you had a fairly modded GP. If its a clean cut, bring it to a muffler shop and it should be a easy fix.
