Exactly where do those little cupholder springs attach?

These things.
I'm restoring my wife's 2001 GP GT and I have the springs, I have the cupholder, but I can't figure out exactly how they attach.

Anyone, anything. . .photo, diagram, anything. Help.

There should be a small hole on the bottom of the cupholder where the bent side of the spring attaches. Then it's just a pressure fit for the other end. If you get stuck I have a spare console at home I can look at later tonight.

I've definitely ID'd the holes they go into, I just need a photo of which way `round they go. Strong little buggers, they threaten to break the plastic tab on the cupholder that they go into.

Well, my spare console doesn't have the cupholder in it like I thought, and my GP is at the shop getting the hood painted so I can't pull my current one to look. What I do see on my spare is there is a hole on the underside of the bracket. That should be where the 90* part of that spring goes.

I think I can probably figure it out by trial and error, but the springs are handed left and right, and I just need to work out the orientation that the spring goes, and there's different ways the spring can face depending on which spring you use, and I really just need a photo of how one that is together is.
