Evo 9 GSR vs Grand Prix GTP



Call BS all you want. Its not hard to make power on a 4G63.

One guy made 699 and then another one made 736 a week later on his.
 
Nope, just big effin turbos.

The one that made 699 ran a 9.63. He has about $7000 into his his car. The one that made 736 ran a 9.20 and he has about $5000 into his car.
 
^^^ i find that hard to believe considering suspension components, tires, transmissions, fuel systems, etc that can handle the power and especially to put down those track times.

Trust me when someone tells you how much they have into their car never believe it
 
yeah, i mean come on.... Brian Earl Spilner put 10 grand into his eclipse. and it was only a 10 second car.
 


The one guy is a personal friend who I work with. I know how much he has into the car. The other guy is more of an aquaintance, but I have hung out with him several times.

Both are automatic and can launch the crap out of their car. The 9.63 car cut a ridiculous 1.3 60' on that run.

They both run E85 and big turbos.

Again. Its not hard to make power on a 4g63. When I had mine all I had to do was turn up the boost and I was over 300AWHP. If I threw in bigger injectors I could have pushed over 30 psi in a car I bought for $2000 already modded.
 
Well let me run down to my neighbor's..


Apparently he has the fastest dsm in the world or some sh1t like that..

Maybe he can tell me how much it costs to make this much power on one

I raced an Evo 9 with my GXP stock, 80-135mph I got a jump on them(not by much) and kept pulling. I would have liked to get a couple other racs from differnet speeds. The Evo had exhaust and thats all I know of.
 
Yea it's a pretty quick car for a 4 cyl. I am sure the Evo would have owned me more if he had the proper 93 octane like he's supposed to but the highest pump gas we have here is 90 octane.
 
Dayum...You need to do something about that knock. I heard it so bad following the shift in the last clip. I wouldn't be beating on the car in that state if it were me. Good runs none the less but like you said, you're knocking.
 


Yea, right after the shift there you can hear the car struggle for a bit. Watching my aeroforce, it doesn't show any extra KR :-\
