Euro style antenna / stock antenna delete

was retractable electric antennas an options on 97-03 gp's? i want to delete mine as well i just dont want to have to weld the hole unless i have to + i would like to still have a antenna when i want or need one. if no a factory option is there a aftermarket option that someone knows about?
