Enter Key doesn't work?

At first I thought this was a problem on my end, but I tried typing in other programs, email, even tried posting on other vBulletin forums and did NOT have this issue anywhere else. Enter key does nothing when I try to post, PM, or otherwise type on this forum. Anyone else having this problem?
 


when posting enter should get you to the next line like it's supposed to.

however, if you want to POST with just enter: you can't. you need to hit tab to get down to the reply button first.
 
The problem I'm having is that the enter key doesn't get me to the next line when I'm typing. The tab function works fine. I tried plugging in an external keyboard, but still no enter key function. Also, when I try to post, PM, etc. many times the website won't respond and I'll have to "recover webpage". I can type in any other document format or on any other website with the spacing (between paragraphs) that I want and then copy and paste here and it works fine.
 
Ponch its really on your end a new laptop will not "fix" this you need to tab over or use the mouse to click the "PostQuick Reply" button

I tried that. No change. I always use the mouse to click the buttons. Again, enter key does absolutely nothing on this forum. Whether I'm posting a new thread, using quick reply or PM'ing. Everything works as it should from my iPhone.
 
Once you enter text in the quick reply box below, here are few shortcuts
(alt + S) = Post quick reply
(alt + X) = Go Advanced
(alt + C) = Cancel






Enter key worked fine for me on Win 8 IE explorer Ver. 10
 
Your profile Settings>General Settings>Message Editor Interface was set to advanced editor, I switched it back to standard editor and it should work fine now.

If it doesn't work, go to your profile settings and double check that the setting isn't on advanced still.
