Engine wiring harness ground location?

On my 97 GT I was getting a DTC code for the TPS. I replaced the TPS and still got the DTC right after clearing it. After posting about that another forum reader told me a few things to check and it if was not that confirm the black wire to the TPS was a good ground. Sure enough I found 3 ohms to ground on that wire. So, i put a temp. ground on the black wire to the TPS and the DTC code stopped. So, I assume the engine harness ground is not good. Anyone know where the engine harness gets its ground?
 


There are a couple grounds.. I believe the fans, PCM and the Battery are all ground at the bell housing.. (starter bolt under the car by the flexplate)

I just took him off, cleaned and put back. there are 3 wires going here, jack up the car and take a look.)
