Engine temp

Having this issue for a while, when I first start off in the morning, the car warms up, as I am driving, the temp gauge spikes up to 210-220, then goes back to normal, and as I am driving the temp stays around normal, I changed the radiator, cap, water pump, upper and lower intake gasket, flushed the system a bunch of times, bled the system, thermostat, temp sensor, sender, I did everything to try to find why this is doing it, I do know the fan control is bad, I do need to turn the ac on sitting in traffic so the fans kick on to cool the engine, most likely the control module is bad, is it possible the module is causing the spike, or possible head gasket? I am not loosing coolant.

I doubt head gaskets, because it would have overheated by now and cooked the motor.

If your low speed fans dont work, that could be a cause.

Or somehow there is still a air pocket trapped. I like to use the bleeders along with the a coolant funnel connected to the radiator. They work really nice to help bleed cooling systems.

Thanks. Air is bled, good point on head gaskets, I am thinking powertrain control module, they are not cheap, and who says used are any good, I am thinking of getting a separate fan controller from Derale or Flexalite, I put one on my old tbird and it worked pretty good. I like to stay factory but this situation might work. The car is an 02 w\ 185,000 mi.
