I picked up a rust free/straight toyota tercel and wanted to put a gen 2 gtp engine and possibly a camaro 3.8 trans with a cut down camaro rear diff...i have the metal working tools to build the tunnel and rear wheel tubs and so on, but i was wondering if the bellhousings on a 4t65e and a 3.8 camaro t5 are the same? i also have access to a machine shop to build a driveshaft and cut the rear axle. any input would be appreciated. and i know its dumb to put all that work into a tercel but i think it would be a very fast and fun car when its done. thanks again for looking.

IIRC the 5-spd will mat up to it, there is just some fabbing in order...not sure what though. Good luck man.
